The only two agenda items were to schedule upcoming leagues and get some rules in writing. The upcoming leagues are posted on the site and on the forum.

The following are some rules that were discussed.

Subs:
  • A league team cannot add a sub to their team once we reach the half-way point of the league. If there are extenuating circumstances then it will go before the Board.
  • Four person leagues will allow for two subs maximum
  • Two person leagues will allow for one sub maximum

It is highly suggested that you max your sub requirement due to the following:

  • If a team must reschedule their match and provides at least 48 hours notice, the opposing team must accept the rescheduling.
  • A make-up date should be discussed at the time of rescheduling.
  • Make-ups must be made up within two weeks of the scheduled match.
  • If one team has made a reasonable attempt at reschulding to no avail then they can request that the Board discuss options regarding forfeit.
  • All forfeits will include league fees & quarters.

The board is always right! The only scoring malfunction that can be corrected is if it is the winning dart AND it sticks.

  • Ex. Player A has 43 remaining in a game of 501. The first darts hits and sticks in the 15 leaving 28. The second dart thrown hits just outside of the double 14 and scores zero. The third dart thrown hits and sticks in the double 14 but counts as zero. Since the double 14 is the winning dart AND it stuck in the board, player A has won the game for his team. The board will be backed up and the double 14 scored.

The dart boards cost $3000+ per board and are not made to sustain repeated damage. Physical abuse of the dart boards:

Any hitting, kicking or actions that can be considered abuse of the dart boards will be handled as follows:

  • 1st offense - Verbal warning
  • 2nd offense - Suspended from participating in Camden leagues/tournaments for a period of one (1) month.
  • 3rd offense - Appear before the board to determine suitable punishment.

Any disruption of the game as a direct result of physical abuse (blown circuit, light bulb, reboot, etc.) player/team automatically loses that game.

The next board meeting is Friday, May 15th
